Culture and Creativity Programme

 

We are delighted to announce that our funding from Arts Council England, which recognises the London Borough of Merton as a National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) has been extended until 2028!

 

Created and delivered by Merton Libraries, our Culture and Creativity programme includes The Merton Big Read, Manga and Graphic Novel Workshops and Artists Work in Libraries commissions, allowing us to build on our extensive offer of high-quality events and cultural experiences for all our residents and visitors.

Artists Work in Libraries, commissions artists who are interested in working in the context of libraries in innovative ways to showcase their work to diverse local communities.

Wimbledon BookFest

 

Wimbledon BookFest is a leading literary festival in London and the principal commissioned partner delivering the Merton Big Read (outlined below), a key strand of Merton's funded Culture and Creativity Programme.
