Carousel: Rave Culture & Electronic Music

with Andrew Finch

These events took place at Mitcham and Wimbeldon Libraries in December 2023.

Carousel explored themes of contemporary rave culture and electronic music through a programme of independent short films, artwork, photography and ephemera by emerging and established international artists.

Film screenings showcased work by Vinca Petersen, Mark Leckey, Zena Merton & Rory Newman, Joe Wilson, ParadiseTV.xyz, Bill Daggs, Psychic TV, Gastão Ramos, Galen Bullivant, Anderson Matthew, Megan Walker and Andrew Finch. A special DJ set by DJ Gastão Saraiva Ramos also took over the library space.
