<p>Merton libraries offer a variety of electronic resources which are available on computers or any device with Internet access.&nbsp;</p>

<p>All our resources are available from the libraries and from home except Ancestry UK and Access to Research which can only be accessed via a library computer.&nbsp;You will need your library card number and PIN to access any of these resources.</p>

<p>Please note that due to technical issues with our Libraries Plus system, Mitcham library will operate under the following modified hours until further notice: Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 7:00pm, and Saturdays, 9:30am to 5:00pm. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.</p>

<p>Merton libraries are actively involved in the vibrant community life of the borough, supporting exciting outreach events like Mitcham Carnival, summer festivals, and local fairs. These events are a fantastic opportunity to showcase the Library and Heritage Service, its extensive facilities, and diverse range of services.</p>

<p>We&rsquo;re seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers aged 18+ to join our team this summer and help bring these community events to life!</p>

<h1>Merton's Sensory Libraries&nbsp;</h1>
<p>Welcome to our dedicated section for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).</p>
<p>All of our children&rsquo;s libraries have a unique theme (see below) with sensory equipment&nbsp;and specialist SEND book stock, specially adapted toys and equipment that can be borrowed.</p>

<h1>Mitcham library Digital Makerspace</h1>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Merton Libraries are excited to announce the launch of a brand-new digital Makerspace at Mitcham library, funded by a Library Improvement Fund from Arts Council England . The digital Makerspace is equipped with a 3D printer, Virtual Reality headsets, Lego Education, Ozobots and PCs loaded with coding software.</p>
