Heritage volunteer roles:

Heritage Display Volunteer

Main duties:

To assist with the promotion of the Merton Memories project to local schools, community groups and heritage organisations ·
To work with the Heritage Officer to plan, research, design and create local history exhibitions ·
To work with the Heritage Officer to plan and run occasional public events ( comprising local history talks, photography guidance and access to local history / photographic materials ) ·
To assist with the design, research and creation of heritage resource packs for use by local schools ·
To assist with the design, research and creation of themed local history sessions for school classes ·
To assist with evaluating the project and its component parts
