<p>Merton libraries offer a variety of electronic resources which are available on computers or any device with Internet access.&nbsp;</p>

<p>All our resources are available from the libraries and from home except Ancestry UK and Access to Research which can only be accessed via a library computer.&nbsp;You will need your library card number and PIN to access any of these resources.</p>

<p>Welcome to our new dedicated section for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).</p>
<p>All our libraries are equipped with ear defenders and pop up dark tents. To make our sensory libraries fully immersive we have sounds and specialist scents to match the theme of each library.</p>
<p>Our staff and volunteers are here to make your visit comfortable and enjoyable. Please contact staff for assistance.</p>
<p>All of our children&rsquo;s libraries now have a unique theme (see below) with sensory equipment and specialist SEND book stock, specially adapted toys and equipment that can be borrowed.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Merton libraries have recently teamed up with ClearVision Project and now offer a range of CONTRACTED AND UNCONTRACTED BRAILLE with text titles for Children. The books all have braille, print and pictures. This allows children with little or no sight to share books with their sighted friends and family, and adult braille readers to enjoy stories with sighted children.</p>

<h1>Mitcham library Digital Makerspace</h1>

<p>Merton Libraries are excited to announce the launch of a brand-new digital Makerspace at Mitcham library, funded by a Library Improvement Fund from Arts Council England . The digital Makerspace is equipped with a 3D printer, Virtual Reality headsets, Lego Education, Ozobots and PCs loaded with coding software.</p>
