Merton's Sensory Libraries
Welcome to our new dedicated section for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
All our libraries are equipped with ear defenders and pop up dark tents. To make our sensory libraries fully immersive we have sounds and specialist scents to match the theme of each library.
Our staff and volunteers are here to make your visit comfortable and enjoyable. Please contact staff for assistance.
All of our children’s libraries now have a unique theme (see below) with sensory equipment and specialist SEND book stock, specially adapted toys and equipment that can be borrowed.
