Football loaning scheme
The London Borough of Merton is on a mission to be London’s Borough of Sport. We are working with a wide range of stakeholders to create a wealth of opportunities for all residents to get involved in sport.
Recognising the health and wellbeing benefits of being involved in sport, the council has partnered with AFC Wimbledon to provide a football loaning scheme across our libraries. The programme aims to ensure that there are never barriers to playing football and will be available to loan for free across Merton’s libraries.
