Description:
Our wellbeing is not just one thing, and is made up of our physical health, mental wellbeing, social connections and more. This session helps to explore how we can support our holistic wellbeing through simple mind body practises such as gentle chair based movement, breathwork and meditation to help promote greater internal balance. This session is led by Leanne Tessier-D’Silva, a Yoga Therapist who joins us as a Project Worker from CDARS, a service that through their R.I.S.E. programme supports people in Merton with mental health and addiction issues through holistic and psychoeducational activities to empower people to feel empowered, uplifted and independent. No previous experience is required, but by booking this session you confirm it is your responsibilities to assess your physical and mental capabilities for all activities.
