Soft Support: Sew & Chat

The Soft Support project consisted of a series of workshops called Sew & Chat led by artist and facilitator Gal Leshem. People in a caring role were invited to meet, make and chat whilst creating a collective textile artwork from pre-loved textiles.

The workshops took place at:

Canons House
17th October - 9th December 2024
11am-1pm

The completed work will now tour Merton Libraries, intended for use by library users. The textile pieces can be moved and reconfigured into different shapes and styles using the Velcro attached to the sides. See what you can create!
