Printmaking on Fabric workshops

with Louise Hung

Capturing your Merton experience in patterns!

These were a series of five workshop for adults which explored experimental screen print, relief print, monoprint and intaglio techniques.

There were different paced activities designed for accessibility and to encourage participants to use various methods for making prints on calico fabric. Participants also produced new pattern designs to exhibit in the libraries and take home!

Each workshop explored different themes utilising the wide range of reference materials available at Morden Library & Heritage Service and develop the concept:
"Design patterns from your Merton experience" around notions of the Arts & Crafts Movement.
