Your heritage through drawing

 

Fragments of heritage and local history at Morden Library were the starting point of conversations with an invitation to draw experience from memory and the total freedom to express yourself through colour and line, form and patterns.

 

With the careful guidance of visual artist and healer Roberta Boyce, this drawing workshop took participants through activities which capture or illustrate memory and record your singular and sensitive approach to lived history and heritage.

 

The aim of the workshop was to experience the joy of making marks and to consider yourself as someone who can and does create!

This event was part of the Merton Heritage Discovery Day 2024.

 

 

Roberta Boyce is a visual artist and educator from London of British-Barbadian heritage developing a method of drawing from the subconscious which also complements her professional practice as a spirit and energy healer.
