Nature Essence: Crafting Together

With Bee Creative

Nature Essence: Crafting Together workshops took place between October 2025 - February 2026 at Pollards Hill Library.

This series by Bee Creative offered a transformative journey into functional art inspired by nature. Through bespoke sessions, participants explored the therapeutic qualities of working with clay and crafting mosaics with a focus on mindfulness, resilience, creativity, and sustainability, fostering a deeper connection with nature, self awareness and the collective power of community.

In the final workshop, participants created clay leaves featuring words to reflect community growth and strength. These leaves will later form the library mini tree - a collective art piece for all library users to enjoy!

This craft activity was inspired by a University College London research project “Nkwihoreze”, with Kristyna Skriczka, exploring the use of art and storytelling for building resilience across generations.
