Merton libraries offer a variety of electronic resources which are available on computers or any device with Internet access.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
All our resources are available from the libraries and from home except Ancestry UK and Access to Research which can only be accessed via a library computer.&nbsp;You will need your library card number and PIN to access any of these resources.

Merton Heritage and Local Studies Centre tells the story of Merton and its people through a changing programme of exhibitions and events. The centre also offers educational services for local schools and adult learners as well as access to a wide range of local history resources.

Due to essential building engineering work, Morden Library and Heritage Centre will be closing for a period of seven weeks from Monday 16 June - Monday 4 August 2025.
 Our other six libraries in Merton will be open as usual during this time.

The Nature Essence: Crafting Together workshop series by Bee Creative offers a transformative journey into functional art inspired by nature. Through six bespoke sessions, participants will explore the therapeutic qualities of working with clay and crafting mosaics with a focus on mindfulness, resilience, creativity, and sustainability, fostering a deeper connection with nature, self awareness and the collective power of community.

Impressions of Nature
With Made in Merton&nbsp;
&nbsp;
Impressions of Nature by Made in Merton is a series of workshops in which participants will develop their creative skills, working with a variety of printmaking techniques and natural materials. Each week they will create a bank of images that they can use in the final workshop to make an artist&rsquo;s book that they can keep. A selection of work will be compiled into a joint artists&rsquo; book, made available in a local library.

Made in Merton is a community arts group that aims to reinvigorate Merton&rsquo;s design and craft heritage, connecting people and place. They are passionate about the area&rsquo;s creative potential, and want people who live and work in Merton to get hands-on experience of making things. They run arts and crafts workshops for all ages with a strong ethos of &ldquo;having a go&rdquo; and sharing skills in a supportive environment.&nbsp;

This unique series of creative workshops led by Lucy Grainge are open to anyone who feels like language has been a barrier to them and/or is interested in exploring language in a creative way through visual art. Participants will be encouraged to unleash their creativity exploring a variety of printmaking techniques and zine making culminating in a collaborative, rotating art installation for the Library shaped by the workshops themselves. &nbsp;
