Nature Essence: Crafting Together
With Bee Creative
The Nature Essence: Crafting Together workshop series by Bee Creative offers a transformative journey into functional art inspired by nature. Through bespoke sessions, participants will explore the therapeutic qualities of working with clay and crafting mosaics with a focus on mindfulness, resilience, creativity, and sustainability, fostering a deeper connection with nature, self awareness and the collective power of community.
In the sixth and final workshop of the Nature Essence: Crafting Together series, participants will create clay leaves featuring words to reflect community growth and strength. These leaves will later form the library mini tree - a collective art piece for all library users to enjoy!
This craft activity is inspired by a University College London research project “Nkwihoreze”, exploring the use of art and storytelling for building resilience across generations. Our guest speaker, Kristyna Skriczka (UCL), will briefly introduce the project’s story and the collaboration with Bee Creative Art Hub.
