Impressions of Nature

With Made in Merton

Impressions of Nature took place between July - September 2025 at Canons House and Morden Library.

This was a series of workshops in which participants developed their creative skills, working with a variety of printmaking techniques and natural materials. Each week they created a bank of images that were used in the final workshop to make an artist’s book to keep.

A selection of work is being compiled into a joint artists’ book, which will be made available in a local library.

Made in Merton is a community arts group that aims to reinvigorate Merton’s design and craft heritage, connecting people and place. They are passionate about the area’s creative potential, and want people who live and work in Merton to get hands-on experience of making things. They run arts and crafts workshops for all ages with a strong ethos of “having a go” and sharing skills in a supportive environment.
