Wimbledon Library are excited to host this children's event by Chris Allen, the author of Hergal the Homeless Crab and the Tom's Ice Cream Van series of books. This enchanting tale follows Hergal, the 10-legged hermit crab with big eyes and an even bigger heart, as he embarks on an extoraodinary journey on the tropical island of Spark. In a world where beautiful shells are hard to find, Hergal learns the true meaning of non-attachment and friendship. When humans take the precious shells that Hergal and his friends need for homes, the struggle for survival begins. As he outgrows his shell and faces bullies, Hergal must confront his fears and insecurities.
