Merton Voice Box

The Merton Voice Box launched in February 2024 and initially toured the east of the borough before settling in Morden Library and Heritage Centre where it can still be viewed.

 

Merton Voice Box is an audio-visual portrait of three areas in the London Borough of Merton: Mitcham, Colliers Wood & Pollards Hill. Portraits, voices and sounds were recorded in conversations between the artist and twelve local people who agreed to participate and give some of their thoughts and experiences of what dignity, pride, community and impact means to them.
