Book Making Workshops

These workshops took place at Colliers Wood Library from May to June 2024.

 

Participants were introduced to the tools of book making and learnt new skills including: measuring, folding, cutting, stitching, sticking and pressing. They were encouraged to consider collage and stitch as decorative aspects of book making with an opportunity to explore a range of handmade books and gain inspiration for future projects. The workshops culminated in creating a hard-back, cloth-bound notebook to take home and use.
