Reception Meetups: Raynes Park Library

Starting school this September? Come along and get ready together! This session will be for children starting reception in September at: Hollymount Primary, Joseph Hood Primary, St Matthews Primary & West Wimbledon Primary. Our Reception Meetups are friendly group sessions designed for children who will be starting Reception this September—and their parents too! Whether your child is heading to the same Merton primary school as others or just wants to meet new friends before the big day, these sessions are a great way to build confidence, socialise, and get excited about starting school. Led by our welcoming library staff, each session will include: - A chat about starting school and how the library can an essential asset for this. - A fun storytelling all about school! - Themed activity sheets to help little ones build their skills and confidence. Please ensure you list what school your child is attending in September. Book one space per child. Parents do not need to book. Come make new friends, share the excitement, and discover how your local library can support your family’s school journey! ✨
