Author Creative Writing Visit - Lui Sit Land of the Wildcat

Come and join us at Wimbledon Library for this exciting local author visit. Land of the Last Wildcat is the first book in a thrilling new action-adventure series, from the amazing local prize-winning debut author Lui Sit. Bold, original and vibrant, the book features environmental messaging and important representation of mixed-race heritage, making this breath-taking story a must-read for 8-11 year olds. In this workshop, Lui Sit – author of - Land of the Last Wildcat – will talk about her author journey and inspirations for writing her first children’s contemporary adventure book. Following on, she will lead a creative writing workshop where participants will create their own special animal with magical abilities and build the start of a story around this animal. Bring your imagination and enthusiasm!
