Description:
PLEASE NOTE: THE SESSIONS CANNOT BE BOOKED INDIVIDUALLY. THIS TICKET WILL COVER ALL 10 SESSIONS - 25 April, 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 May, 6, 13, 20, 27 June. Join us for an exciting 10-week First LEGO League Explore programme at our libraries, designed for children aged 6-10 years! In partnership with FIRST® LEGO® League, a flagship education initiative by the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), this hands-on programme introduces young learners to the world of STEM. This year’s "Submerged" theme takes children on an underwater adventure, exploring ocean ecosystems and how technology can help solve real-world challenges related to marine life and sustainability. Through LEGO-based activities, young participants will build, explore, and innovate, developing essential skills such as communication and teamwork. There is a limited number of spaces available for this LEGO League course and upon the first session, children will be split into 3 teams that they will remain in throughout the 10 week course. Please do not book a space if you have already booked the course at another library. All participants are invited to attend the celebration event on Saturday 12 July, 9.30-11.30am where teams can showcase their hard work and achievements!

Requirements:
Attendees MUST commit to all 10 sessions. Parents must be present during sessions and must not leave children unattended.
