Description:
Come and join us at Wimbledon Library for this special author visit in celebration of World Autism Acceptance Month. We are extremely excited to welcome back Marielle Baylis, author of Frog's Bog and Frog in a Fog. Marielle has written 6 children's books related to neurodiversity and will be reading 'Neurons and Autism', a book aimed at 3-5 year olds. 'Meet Ozzy the neuron! Ozzy lives in Amira’s inner ear and detects and sends sound messages to her brain. Find out more about Autism Spectrum Condition, how it affects Amira and learn about Ozzy the neuron in this informative, compact book looking at neurons and autism.' Marielle will also be doing a sketch tutorial session. The story time is drop in, but please book a space for the drawing session as spaces are limited.
