Description:
Book NowFoundational yoga: a slower-paced, mindful class, with space and time to feel into and adjust postures. Suitable for beginners, those practicing with injuries or conditions, or anyone returning to yoga after a break.
During a gentle 75 minute yoga class, in which we move slowly and with awareness, we develop a bodily understanding of the foundational yoga postures – how we do them, how we feel them, and what they do for us. Each week uncovers a different theme, taking us to a fuller understanding of the different aspects and practices of yoga, including the energy meridians in the body, breathing, meditation, mantra and more. We unwind the class with a soothing relaxation.
We end our session with tea and nibbles, during which time we can discuss any questions that arise, explore the theme of the class, and you can complete a feedback form letting me know how you experienced the class.
Please note, after booking a session, attendees will be asked to contact the teacher directly to confirm their place. This is so any health needs/concerns can be accounted for during the sessions.
