Author Event - Lakshmi-Raj Jesa's 'Finn Button and the Discovery of Adria'

Come and join us at Wimbledon Library for this exciting author event for 8-12 year olds. Author info: Lakshmi-Raj Jesa (also known as Lux) is a writer, living in London with her young son. She has a bachelor’s degree in History from The School of Oriental and African Studies and a postgraduate qualification in International Relations of the Americas from University College London. Lux is passionate about writing stories which share her love of the oceans and marine life. Book info: When eleven-year-old Finn is given a fish tank by a complete stranger in the street it is the start of an amazing adventure. That evening, he sets it up at home. In the middle of the night, he is woken up by a crab making noises in the tank. When he moves towards the tank, he discovers an octopus sitting in the corner, who then pulls him into the tank. There he discovers a fantastic underwater world called Adria, inhabited by miniature humans called Aquaplings. One of them is a famous inventor called Ged Sinclair. Finn joins Ged on a mission to rescue his missing son, Henry and it is the start of an epic adventure. Booking is essential to attend this event.
