Join musician Conrad Murray for Beatbox and Voice workshops at Mitcham Library. For those interested in music and performance, who want to develop their skills such as musicality, timing, song writing, confidence, and teamwork. The creative workshops will lead participants to exploring beatboxing, rap, singing and music, with the aim to build participants’ creativity skills & confidence and explore the topic of ‘my ends’, where people can tell stories about the places they live and also frequent. Allowing for sharing stories about community. history, family and also aspects which they may have problems with and want to change.The participants will be invited to perform their own musical and performance pieces, giving them the opportunity to showcase their talent. Conrad Murray is a professional Musician/Theatre maker. He has performed around the UK and internationally. His critically acclaimed show Frankenstein was turned into a BBC film in 2020.He has 5 of his plays published and written a book on Hip hop theatre for Bloomsbury. He recently composed and Musically directed the Michael Rosen Musical Unexpected Twist.
