<p>All our resources are available from the libraries and from home except Ancestry UK and Access to Research which can only be accessed via a library computer.&nbsp;You will need your library card number and PIN to access any of these resources.</p>

<p>Merton Heritage and Local Studies Centre tells the story of Merton and its people through a changing programme of exhibitions and events. The centre also offers educational services for local schools and adult learners as well as access to a wide range of local history resources.</p>

<h3><strong>01/03/2024 Merton libraries app update</strong></h3>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Our library app is back! We apologise for any inconvenience caused during the period it was unavailable, owing to factors outside our control. Thank you for your patience during this time.<br />If you still have the app installed, you should be able to log in using your card number and PIN. If for any reason this doesn't work, you may have to uninstall and reinstall the app.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Mitcham library will be piloting new door access technology that will eventually enable the library to open for even longer hours.</p>
<p>As part of the pilot, from Monday 11 November, we will be trialling some alternative hours. Customers will be required to enter the building using their library card or library app and PIN Mondays to Fridays from 9-9.30am.</p>

<h1>Extended Opening Hours</h1>
<p>Mitcham Library has been piloting new door access technology to enable the library to open for longer hours.&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>From Monday 27 November the new library opening hours for Mitcham Library will be:&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Mondays to Fridays 8am &ndash; 8pm<br />Saturdays 8am &ndash; 5pm&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Customers will be required to enter the building using their library card or Merton Libraries app and PIN number&nbsp;</p>
<p><br />Monday to Saturday between 8.00am &ndash; 9.30am and<br />Monday to Friday between 7pm - 8pm.&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Following the successful implementation of the Libraries Plus door access technology at Raynes Park, Colliers Wood, Pollards Hill&nbsp;and West Barnes libraries, we are pleased to announce that we will be further extending opening hours and also aligning the Library Plus hours at all of these sites.</p>

<p>From 23 January 2023, these sites will be changing their opening hours to:</p>
