Merton libraries offer a variety of electronic resources which are available on computers or any device with Internet access.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
All our resources are available from the libraries and from home except Ancestry UK and Access to Research which can only be accessed via a library computer.&nbsp;You will need your library card number and PIN to access any of these resources.

Merton Heritage and Local Studies Centre tells the story of Merton and its people through a changing programme of exhibitions and events. The centre also offers educational services for local schools and adult learners as well as access to a wide range of local history resources.

<h3>01/03/2024 Merton libraries app update</h3>
&nbsp;
Our library app is back! We apologise for any inconvenience caused during the period it was unavailable, owing to factors outside our control. Thank you for your patience during this time. If you still have the app installed, you should be able to log in using your card number and PIN. If for any reason this doesn't work, you may have to uninstall and reinstall the app.&nbsp;

Mitcham library will be piloting new door access technology that will eventually enable the library to open for even longer hours.
As part of the pilot, from Monday 11 November, we will be trialling some alternative hours. Customers will be required to enter the building using their library card or library app and PIN Mondays to Fridays from 9-9.30am.

Wimbledon BookFest - in partnership with the University of Roehampton delivered a series of workshops exploring both creative writing and the art of storytelling.
&nbsp;
Led by professional writers Dr. Tim Atkins, Saima Mir and Juan Tafur, the workshops took place in Morden, Wimbledon and Colliers Wood libraries.
&nbsp;
Whether you're just starting out on your writing journey, want to develop your craft, or simply explore different ways of telling your story, these workshops are the perfect way to get your creativity flowing.
