Way Wive Wordz Series

This series of events took place at Mitcham, Pollards Hill and Morden Libraries between October to November 2023. 

 

The programme showcased the collaborations between individual artists, performers, authors, publishers and scholars on a range of intersecting themes related to black culture, histories and contemporary realities.

 

The programme consisted of a series of readings, presentations, storytelling, cultural and art workshops that celebrated creative expression, identity and community engagement and embeded African heritage and experiences.
