Saturday Soup By Five Aside Theatre

This was an invitation to a heritage house party! and it took place at Merton Arts Space at Wimbledon Library on Sat 16th March. And the house was full!

 

Dorothee in the 20^th Century is an immersive theatre performance exploring the lived experience of young African Caribbean in London during the 1960’s, 70’s and 90’s.

 

Developed over 2 years working with the local Windrush community and their descendants, a further two community events have taken place at Pollards Hill and Mitcham Libraries leading up to the public showcase.
