Author event: Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai

 

This Author Event was the launch the first commission of our Arts Council England funded programme as Merton Libraries embarked on its journey as a National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) for the the next three years. Our partnership with Wimbledon BookFest brought Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai to join us at Wimbledon Library as part of her UK tour, visiting London to launch her new book Dust Child in conversation with founder and director of Free Books Campaign Sofia Akel.

Dr Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai is an award-winning Vietnamese writer and journalist. Author of eleven books of poetry, short fiction and non-fiction.
