Carousel: Rave Culture & Electronic Music

 

 

Carousel explores themes of contemporary rave culture and electronic music through a programme of independent short films, artwork, photography and ephemera by emerging and established international artists curated by writer and filmmaker Andrew Finch.

 

With an exhibition and film screenings showcasing work by Vinca Petersen, Mark Leckey, Zena Merton & Rory Newman, Joe Wilson, ParadiseTV.xyz, Bill Daggs, Psychic TV, Gastão Ramos, Galen Bullivant, Anderson Matthew, Megan Walker and Andrew Finch. 

A special DJ set by DJ Gastão Saraiva Ramos also took place which took over the Library space with huge visuals and percussion, bass, breaks, acid, techno, perreo, baile funk and other sounds.
